As some of you may know, Captive Minecraft II hasn't been playable since Mojang stopped providing the 1.8 snapshot it was last supported on.

The good news is, I'm currently in the process of updating the map mechanics - so a complete overhaul of the Command Blocks that detect and reward achievements. It should run a lot more efficiently, as an additional bonus to, well, working at all.

So I'm looking for 5-10 alpha testers to do a quick run-through of the map, and provide a survey of their findings. As far as the map itself goes, gameplay will be the same. This is just to test that nothing mechanics-wise is broken. For example - the world border not increasing for certain achievements, or not every player online receiving achievements at the same time.

Essentially, I'm looking for Captive Minecraft II speed runners. If you've played the map before and consider yourself a bit of a pro Minecrafter, then you're the right person for the job. If you can bring a friend along to test with, that would be even better.

IMPORTANT: As far as I'm aware, the Nether/End still does not play kindly with the World Border. So you will likely die when you first head in. Please take note of this if/when it happens and take a screenshot so I can include it in my bug report to Mojang. Typically, restarting the server (multiplayer), or closing the world, then re-opening it again (single player) will resolve the issue.

Please fill out the form below to apply. If you don't receive a response within the next couple of days, please don't take it personally! I'll only be selecting 5-10 people.
